VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE
Dear Topton Water Customers:
The Borough is experiencing a short-term supply shortage due to the excessive dry conditions. Topton Borough has determined that voluntary water conservation measures are needed to protect the integrity of the Spring and well water supply sources.
Effective immediately, The Borough of Topton is implementing Voluntary water conservation measures for all customers served by the Topton Borough water system.
Topton Borough is permitted to impose water use restrictions on its customers under the PA Code reference to 4 Pa. Code § 120.4. These voluntary use restrictions will continue until Topton Borough provides notice that the voluntary water conservation measures have been lifted. Should these conditions persist, additional mandatory water conservation measure may be required.
While the voluntary water conservation measures are in place, all Topton Borough water customers are asked to eliminate nonessential uses of water.

Topton Borough will lift the voluntary water use restrictions as soon as it is safe to do so. The Borough greatly appreciates and anticipates that each customer will comply with the voluntary water use restrictions so that all the Boroughs customers will continue to receive safe, adequate, and reliable water service.
