Employees of the Borough of Topton, who are members of Teamsters Local 773, are engaged in a strike. The Borough Council will ensure that the water distribution system and sanitary sewage treatment plant will remain operational during the strike. Likewise, as many other services as possible will be maintained throughout this time. The strike does not affect the operations of the Borough office. We will provide additional statements as this matter progresses.
